System Documentation

Documentation is a crucial component of any network.  Good documentation is necessary in order to

• transfer knowledge from one employee to another

• build trending analysis information

• quickly find solutions to problems that have occurred before

• satisfy some government requirements

• recover from disasters or equipment failure

• research current configurations for troubleshooting

Unfortunately documentation always seems to fall to the bottom of the "To Do" list.  Your staff either has more pressing things to do or they dread the misery of having to sit down and actually write.  The other problem is that your staff may be excellent at running a network but they may not be very good at documenting that same network.  Bad documentation is just about as useless as no documentation at all, so have some experts do it right the first time.

Health Checks

Over time, your network may develop small issues that go unnoticed.  There may also be inherent problems with the initial installation or issues with the driver versions you have installed.  Everything will work fine until one day all these little issues may bring down your entire network.  You need to become proactive by performing regular health checks on your systems.

Let us come in and perform a full health check on your entire NetWare, eDirectory, and or GroupWise system.  We examine all your servers, software versions, driver versions, system design, and overall system performance.  After we collect all the necessary data, it is presented to you in a comprehensive System Health Report.  The report outlines your current system configuration.  It will also point out each problem found, its severity level, potential issues, and the suggested solution.
